Fabrication Facility in Scott, Louisiana

Universal Equipment, based in Scott, Louisiana, specializes in the fabrication of new or refurbished oil and gas production equipment. We have maintained an outstanding reputation in this industry since 1964 and invite you to visit our fabrication facility.

Our facility is A.S.M.E. Code Certified under Section VIII, Division 1, of the A.S.M.E. Code to use the “U” Pressure Vessel Stamp and “R” Stamp for repairs. We also have the endorsement of the American Petroleum Institute and are registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
Our facility incorporates more than 20,000 square feet of enclosed fabrication area and includes additional protected areas for sand blasting and painting. We also have a separate valve and control repair shop.

Specialties

Fully automatic, semi-automatic, and manual burning and welding equipment are available to our workers. The fully automatic submerged arc welding equipment will handle vessels up to a maximum diameter of approximately 13 feet. Our specialties include:
